Songkran Festival

Songkran festival marks the traditional New Year’s Day by the Buddhist Community in Thailand. It is an annual three-day celebration from April 13 to 15 and the world’s biggest water fight in the street. Traditionally, Thais politely pour a bowl of water on members of the family, their close friends and neighbours. Songkran is an occasion for family reunions, temple visit and annual house cleaning.

Look who’s enjoying their vacation in Thailand. Yesterday, Jay Z and Beyonce took a Muay Thai fight at Patong Boxing Stadium in Phuket, where some fans spotted these lovely couples sat on the ringside. A source told E News “Jay is a huge supporter of the sport. If there is an opportunity for him to attend a match while on vacation, absolutely he’ll be there, Could he of been scouting new fighters? Who knows, it’s certainly possible. Many of the fighters are not from America, they come from all over the world.”
